Michele has been painting and sculpting professionlly for more than 25 years. Her passion for art is shared equally with a love for all animals. As a child she enjoyed painting and drawing neighborhood pets and wildlife. She considers herself self taught, studying the works of fellow artists including Robert Bateman, Bob Kuhn and Andrew Wyeth. She specializes in wildlife and pet portraits and is renowned by many in the art world. She has created original works for companies that include Enesco, Otagiri and Fravessi Greeting Cards. More that 100 sculptures for the George G. Harris Pewter Pin Line also attest to her success.
Michele's most current work has taken her to a more "painterly" style in oils.
Subjects include people and pets in ordinary candid moments.
